Hannes Hofer

Hannes Hofer is an experienced professional in the field of software engineering. Currently working at Barracuda as the Manager of SW Engineering and Engineering Lead for Appliances and Update Services, responsible for leading a team handling hardware appliances and update processes for Barracuda's next generation firewall. Prior to Barracuda, Hannes worked at Nivis GmbH as a Software Engineer, where Hannes developed management systems for snow generators and pumping stations, firmware for snow generators, and integrated third party bus systems into self-written management systems. Hannes has expertise in frontend development, objective C & C++, C++, and Python languages.
