Cody Johnson

Cody Johnson is a Senior R&D Engineer at Barrday Inc. since February 2023, where leadership of multidiscipline project teams focuses on developing composite prepreg solutions across various markets and providing key technical support to major customers. Previously, a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Alabama at Birmingham from June 2021 to February 2023, Cody established a fiber content measurement method, mentored undergraduate students, and led finite element analysis projects. Prior roles include Customer Service Engineer at Toray Composites, where Cody advanced technical solutions and support capabilities, and IACMI Intern at Oak Ridge National Laboratory, optimizing additive manufacturing processes. Cody holds a Master of Science in Materials Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
