Ryan Reed

Ryan Reed has extensive experience in communication and development, currently serving as the Communication and Development Manager at the Barre Center for Buddhist Studies since August 2023 and as a Mental Health First Aid Instructor for the National Council for Behavioral Health since May 2018. Ryan's background includes various leadership roles at YMCA Camp Takodah, ranging from Associate Executive Director to Director of Development, as well as serving as Camp Director at Camp Foster YMCA and YMCA Camp Campbell Gard. Ryan's notable early career includes positions with Disney Cruise Line as a Youth Activities Manager and Girl Scouts of Western Ohio as a Camp Director / Youth Program Manager. Ryan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications/Public Relations from Xavier University and has completed graduate certificates in Leadership Excellence from the Disney Institute and Nonprofit Management from Marlboro College Graduate & Professional Studies.
