John T. has extensive work experience in the wine and spirits industry. John recently joined Barrell Craft Spirits as the Chief Brands and Commercial Officer in 2023. Before that, they worked at Brown-Forman for many years, holding various leadership positions. John was the VP, Director of Wine Brands from 2021 to 2023, VP, Managing Director of Tequila Brands from 2018 to 2021, VP, Global Brand Director Tequila Herradura from 2015 to 2018, VP, Director Consumer and Brand Entrepreneurship from 2013 to 2015, VP, Group Brand Director, Southern Comfort & Tuaca from 2011 to 2013, AVP, Director Wines from 2008 to 2011, and Director Wines from 2005 to 2008. Prior to their time at Brown-Forman, John T. was the Brand Director at BERINGER BLASS WINE ESTATES LIMITED from 2001 to 2005 and a National Account Manager at WineShopper.com/Wine.com from 1999 to 2001. John also worked at Chevron as a National Account Representative from 1992 to 1994.

John T. attended the University of Kentucky from 1987 to 1991, earning a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a focus on Marketing.
