Irv Roman

Irv Roman has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Irv began their career in the US Navy in 1984 as a Chief Aviation Ordnanceman, where they held the position of Ordnanceman Chief Petty Officer. In this role, they managed eight departments and over 100 personnel within the maintenance division of a fleet logistic squadron. Irv had overall responsibility for the maintenance and safety of four C-9 Cargo/Passenger Aircraft.

After leaving the Navy in 1999, Roman joined Western Union in 2000. Irv initially served as a Territory Manager, where they managed over 300 agent locations. Irv'sresponsibilities included overseeing the sales performance of each agent location, marketing and merchandising, agent retention, new agent acquisition, relationship building, and increased distribution through same-store sales promotions. Irv also contributed to building consumer relations through participation in community cultural events, involvement with ethnic organizations, and in-store promotions/events for consumers. In 2005, Roman was promoted to the role of Senior Product Specialist, Sales, where they continued to provide valuable contributions until 2011.

In 2012, Roman joined Barri Financial Group as the Director of Agents & Products. No specific end date is provided, indicating that they may still be employed in this role.

Irv Roman obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with an emphasis on Accounting from San Diego State University. Irv attended the university from 1996 to 1998.
