Daren Fonda

Daren Fonda is the current Managing Editor at Barron's. Daren has over 20 years of experience in the financial writing industry. Daren got their start as a Staff Writer at Time Magazine in 2000, before moving on to SmartMoney Magazine in 2007. In 2010, Daren became a Senior Financial Writer at Janus Capital Group. In 2012, they transitioned to Fidelity Investments where they served as a Senior Writer and Investing Columnist until 2014. After a brief stint as a Strategic Advisor at AssetGrade, LLC in 2014-2015, Daren joined Kiplinger as a Senior Associate Editor in 2015, where they worked until 2018.

Daren Fonda received a B.A. in English/Film Studies from the University of Rochester and an M.A. in English/American Literature from New York University.
