Alain Freymond

Alain Freymond has extensive experience in the cocoa industry, currently serving as President of Global Cocoa at Barry Callebaut Group since August 2008. Prior roles at Barry Callebaut include Vice President Operations and Supply Chain, Vice President Global Combined Ratio Management, Vice President Cocoa North America, and Cocoa Trader. Alain Freymond began career as a Junior Cocoa Trader at Barry Callebaut from August 1999 to August 2005, followed by a position as Key Account Manager at Dadco from September 2005 to July 2008. Alain Freymond holds a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from ETH Zürich, completed between 1994 and 1999.
