Jill Spern has a diverse work experience in the food and beverage industry. Jill began their career as a Research and Development Intern at Campbell Soup Company in 2006. Jill then worked as a Quality Assurance Technician at Godiva Chocolatier and an R&D Technician at Barry Callebaut. In 2011, Jill became a Product Development Specialist at Georgia Nut Company. Jill later joined Kraft Foods Group as a Scientist, specializing in desserts, and later as a Senior Scientist in Snack Nuts. Jill then moved to The Kraft Heinz Company as a Project Commercialization Manager, overseeing coffee and snack nuts projects. Jill joined Barry Callebaut Group in 2018 as an R&D Product Manager, and most recently, they have held the role of Commercialization Project Manager at Richelieu Foods. Currently, Jill is working as a Product Lifecycle Management Lead at Barry Callebaut Group for the Americas.

Jill Spern completed their Bachelor's degree in Food Science and Technology at Virginia Tech from 2003 to 2007. In 2020, they obtained a certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute.
