Nicolas Mounard is an experienced leader in sustainability and agricultural development with a strong background in both executive and consultancy roles. Currently serving as the VP of ESG, Sustainability & Traceability at Barry Callebaut Group since December 2019, Nicolas also holds the position of Chairman at Cocoa Horizons and previously led Farm Africa as Chief Executive from February 2016 to November 2019, focusing on empowering smallholders in East Africa. Prior to that, Nicolas was the Managing Director at Twin Trading and held various leadership roles at ALTER ECO, including CEO and CFO, where strategic restructuring and internal control measures were implemented. Beginning a career in financial audit at Ernst & Young and Arthur Andersen, Nicolas possesses a solid foundation in financial oversight and compliance. Nicolas earned a Master of Business Administration from ESSEC Business School in 2003.
