Simone Annese

Simone Annese has extensive experience in leadership and sales within the food industry, currently serving as Managing Director for Italy at Barry Callebaut Group since January 2016, where previous roles included WE Chain Accounts Director and Sales Director for the Gourmet Division. Prior to this, Simone held the position of Sales Director for Italy, Iberia, France, Benelux, and Switzerland at Mec3 from September 2006 to December 2015, alongside experience as Marketing Manager. Additional roles include Marketing Manager at SFIR Group, Brand Manager for Vileda at FHP, and Product and Sales District Manager for Yoga at Conserve Italia. Academic credentials include a degree in Economics from Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna, and ongoing studies at SDA Bocconi in Sales Excellence and The Marketing in You.
