Gino Franco

Gino Franco is the Managing Director for Italy at Yunex Traffic since November 2023, bringing extensive experience in the road transport safety and traffic management sector. Previously, Gino served as Business Development Manager at Swarco Italy from January 2020 to October 2023, and as Chief Innovation Officer at SWARCO AG from October 2014 to December 2019, where responsibilities included corporate innovation and R&D management. Earlier roles include Director of Innovation at SWARCO MIZAR SPA from January 2006 to December 2014, focusing on strategic research in Intelligent Transportation Systems, and R&D project manager at MIZAR Automazione SpA from November 1993 to December 2005. Gino holds a Master’s Degree in Electronic Engineering from Politecnico di Torino (1985-1991) and completed further education at SDA Bocconi between 2015 and 2016.
