Joe Wilhelm

As Group President, Consulting, Joe Wilhelm provides focused leadership for the BW Consulting Platform’s Barry-Wehmiller Design Group.

With 45 offices throughout the U.S. and India, Design Group is one of the largest U.S. engineering consulting firms serving the food and beverage, life sciences, advanced technology, industrial and other market sectors. Joe joined the firm in 1988 and was named Managing Partner in 1994. Under his leadership, Design Group has acquired four engineering companies and has achieved a sustained track record of organic growth. Today, the organization stands at 1,400 professionals and more than $400 million in annual revenue.

Joe has a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology.
