James McLure

Senior Peer Support Worker at Barwon Health

James McLure is a seasoned researcher and mental health professional with extensive experience in both academic and practical settings. Currently serving as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Deakin University since November 2021, McLure is involved in the CHIME project, focusing on creating improved mental health care outcomes through co-designing effective interventions with a diverse group of stakeholders. McLure has also been a Senior Peer Support Worker at Barwon Health since December 2016, where a key achievement includes establishing a post-discharge peer support service aimed at reducing hospital readmissions.
