Michael Seitz

Michael Seitz is currently serving as an Adjunct Clinical Senior Lecturer at The University of Notre Dame Australia since September 2022. Michael specializes in cardiothoracic surgery, holding the title of Cardiothoracic Surgeon at Barwon Health since June 2020. Michael has extensive training and experience, having completed fellowships in cardiothoracic surgery at multiple institutions, including the Deutsches Herzzentrum Berlin and Barwon Health. Prior to these roles, Michael worked as a registrar in cardiothoracic surgery across several hospitals and health districts, including The Royal Melbourne Hospital and Alfred Health. Michael obtained a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) with honors from the University of Sydney, and completed the International Baccalaureate at the International School of Amsterdam.
