Principal Software Engineer, Lead Software Architect at Bascom Hunter

Anthony Ricco is a seasoned technology professional with a strong background in software engineering and architectural roles across various companies. Currently a Principal Software Engineer and Lead Software Architect at Bascom Hunter since January 2023, Anthony focuses on enhancing communications for US Navy ships using satellite technology. Prior experience includes working as a Senior Software Engineer at Raytheon Intelligence & Space, where Anthony implemented automation solutions for satellite ground stations. At ASRC Federal, Anthony held multiple roles, including Solutions Architect and Senior Principal Software Engineer, contributing to tactical mission support and developing software for the AEGIS Weapon System. Anthony has served as an Adjunct Professor at Rowan University, teaching C/C++ programming, and has managed projects in industrial automation earlier in career. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Computer Engineering from Villanova University and a Master’s degree in Computer and Information Sciences from Rowan University, complemented by a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering Sciences from The College of New Jersey.
