Frank Kumli

Frank Kumli has had a diverse range of work experiences throughout their career. Frank began their career in 1997 at Roche as a Project Team Leader, and then moved on to Solutia (now Carbogen Amcis) where they held various roles including Sales Manager, Divisional Marketing Manager, and Project Team Leader. In 2005, they joined Lonza as the New Business Development Manager. In 2007, they joined EY as the Global Life Sciences Center Senior Manager and later became the Advisory Customer Practice Leader. Most recently, they worked at Basel Area Business & Innovation as the Head of Innovation and Entrepreneurship and a Member of the Management Board, as well as a Management Team Member at DayOne, focusing on precision medicine.

Frank Kumli has a diverse education history. Frank completed their Licentiate degree in Chemistry at Université catholique de Louvain from 1984 to 1989. Frank then pursued a PhD in Organic Chemistry from the same university, graduating in 1996. Following their Ph.D., Frank undertook a postdoctoral research position at Colorado State University from 1996 to 1997. In 2000 and 2001, they attended the University of St.Gallen, where they obtained a degree in Sales Management, with a focus on Marketing and Sales. Lastly, in 2002 and 2003, Frank attended the University of Rochester - Simon Business School, where they earned an MBA with a specialization in Management.

In addition to their degrees, Frank has also obtained certifications in various fields. In 2017, they completed the certifications "An Introduction to Consumer Neuroscience & Neuromarketing" and "Introduction to Neuroeconomics: How the Brain Makes Decisions" through Coursera.
