Noëlle Newbold's work experience includes being a Group Creative Director and Partner at DEPT® since January 2022, where they are responsible for digital branding, e-commerce, creative strategy, and storytelling for Google's latest products and technologies. Prior to this role, they worked as a Creative Director at BASIC/DEPT® from March 2019 to January 2022, leading a multidisciplinary team of over 50 people. Noëlle also served as a Jury member for the Webby Awards starting in July 2019. Before joining DEPT®, Noëlle was the Global Design Director at Spotify from September 2017 to June 2019, collaborating with business strategists to create branding for Spotify Premium. Noëlle has also held various roles at R/GA, Crispin Porter Bogusky, MullenLowe Lintas Group, Hachette Book Group, and Time Inc. with responsibilities in design, art direction, and graphic design.

Noëlle Newbold attended the Upright Citizens Brigade in 2016, where they studied Improv Comedy. In 2003, they briefly attended the School of Visual Arts, although no specific degree or field of study was mentioned.
