Kristin Mooney

Kristin Mooney is an experienced professional in the field of packaging engineering and product development, currently serving as Director of R&D at Basic American Foods since February 2019, overseeing product development and packaging engineering for food service and consumer foods. Previously at L'Oréal, Kristin held roles as Director and Senior Manager in New Product Development, focusing on the industrialization of product concepts and sustainability initiatives for cosmetics and hair care. Kristin's earlier experience includes leadership positions in packaging development at The Kraft Heinz Company, managing teams for major brands and driving collaborative relationships for program execution. Kristin began a career in packaging engineering with Unilever as an intern after earning a B.S. in Packaging from Michigan State University in 2006.
