Rachel McNinch

Rachel McNinch serves as the President of the DC Public Charter School Athletic Association, overseeing athletics for over 60 member schools, and has held various volunteer roles within the organization since 2018, including Cross Country and Track & Field Commissioner. Rachel has been a coach and site coordinator at KIDS ELITE SPORTS LLC since 2021 and has led cross country and track & field programs at BASIS DC Public Charter School since 2014. Additionally, Rachel is responsible for the athletics department and physical education curriculum at BASIS.ed since 2013. Previous experience includes roles as an Environmental Specialist at Walther Farms, Assistant Secretary at IWA - Health Related Water Microbiology, and Research Assistant at the Center for Water Sciences at Michigan State University. Rachel holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Fisheries and Wildlife from Michigan State University.
