Jaymie Silva

Jaymie Silva is an experienced English educator with a robust background in teaching various English courses across multiple institutions. Currently serving as an English Teacher at BASIS Independent Schools since June 2016, Jaymie specializes in Advanced Placement English Language, covering diverse reading selections and topics related to rhetorical analysis and literary techniques. Previous roles include an English Instructor at Ohlone College, where developmental English classes were taught, and an Instructor at Heald College, recognized as the General Education Teacher of the Year in 2013. Jaymie has also taught advanced English and grammar courses as an Adjunct Instructor at IvyMax Inc and has instructed English Composition and American Literature at Mount Washington College.
