Katlyn Badree

Learning Expert Teacher Head Teacher at BASIS Independent Schools

Katlyn Badree started their work experience as an Educator Volunteer at the Wildlife Conservation Society in 2015 and continued until 2018. Katlyn then worked as a Legal Secretary at Sach Law Firm in 2020, providing administrative and clerical support to lawyers. Following that, they worked as an After School Teacher at The Child Center of NY from 2018 to 2020, responsible for setting goals for program participants and maintaining a safe learning environment. In 2019, they became a Teacher at Avenues: The World School, working with children ages 3-17 years old and emphasizing collaboration and flexibility. Currently, they are serving as a Learning Expert Teacher Head Teacher at BASIS Independent Schools, assisting students in understanding their learning styles and implementing strategies for success.

Katlyn Badree attended Hunter College from 2017 to 2021, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government Sociology. In 2023, Katlyn briefly enrolled at Harvard University to pursue a higher education degree in Higher Education/Higher Education Administration. Katlyn successfully completed the program and obtained a Higher Education Certification from Harvard University in July 2023. Additionally, in October 2020, they acquired an Online CPR/AED and First Aid Combo Course certification from the American Red Cross.
