Guru Prasanna

Guru Prasanna has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple companies and roles. Guru has held the position of Chief Operating Officer at The Bahrain Ship Repairing and Engineering Company BSC since April 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Hull Manager at NKOM - Nakilat Keppel Offshore & Marine Ltd from March 2019 to May 2022. From September 2010 to February 2019, Guru worked as an Assistant General Manager at BASREC, managing shipyard operations and handling ship repairs for clients such as USNAVY and USCOAST GUARD. Before that, they held the position of Senior Manager - Operations at International Ship Repair in Fujairah, UAE from June 2007 to August 2010. Guru also worked as a Subcontractor at Drydocks World Dubai from 2007 to 2010 and as Manager - SB(Hull) at Mazagon Dock Ltd from September 2006 to June 2007. Guru began their career at Larsen & Toubro Limited, where they served as an Assistant Manager of Production Engineering from August 1997 to September 2006.

Guru Prasanna completed a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Mechanical Engineering from SCSVM College, Sandur from 1991 to 1993. Later, from 1993 to 1997, they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Mechanical Engineering from Sri Siddhartha Institute of Technology, Tumkur. In 1999, they attended MS University and obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management (PGDBM) with a focus on Business Management. In July 2021, Guru Prasanna obtained the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute.
