Amanda M. Adams is an accomplished research professional with significant experience in conservation and biological sciences. Currently serving as Director of Research Coordination and Conservation Research Program Manager at Bat Conservation International since September 2019, Amanda previously held roles as an Instructor at Fort Hays State University and as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Texas A&M University. Additional experience includes a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev and an Assistant Professor position at Western University, where Amanda co-instructed a marine biology field course. Amanda’s educational background includes a Ph.D. in Ecology from Western University, an MSc in Biology from UC San Diego, and a BSc in Ecology, Behavior, and Evolution from UC San Diego. Amanda has also contributed to bat conservation training and research through various volunteer and technician roles.
