Amy Biancheri serves as an Organizational Specialist in Member Professional Learning at the Montgomery County Education Association since September 2021. Additionally, since July 2013, Amy has held the position of NEA Director for Illinois, advocating for educators and students at both state and national levels, and lobbying on education issues. Former roles include President of the Batavia Education Association, where Amy supported a 420-member local educators' union, and Region 40 Chair, representing multiple districts on the IEA Board of Directors. Amy has been an English instructor at Batavia Public School District 101 since August 2003, teaching various high school English courses, and previously taught at Resurrection High School. Amy holds a Master’s in Education - Curriculum and Instruction from Loyola University Chicago and a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Illinois Chicago.
