Ali Sharif

Ali Sharif has a significant work experience in the field of internal audit, primarily in the telecommunications industry. Ali started their career in 2006 as the Chief Internal Auditor at Batelco Bahrain, where they oversaw internal audit activities. In 2009, they became the Group Chief Internal Auditor at Batelco Group, where they served for a decade. During their tenure, they played a vital role in overseeing internal audit activities across various companies within the group. In 2019, they joined Batelco as the Chief Internal Auditor for International Investments, responsible for leading a multinational team and providing specialized audit services across several countries.

Ali Sharif has obtained certifications from The Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) in Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certification in Risk Management Assurance (CRMA), as well as a certification in Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) from ISACA.
