Brett Staples

Brett Staples is a Senior Architect who has worked in the industry for over 15 years. Brett is currently working as an Associate Director at Bates Smart.

Brett began their career as an architect at AA Papageorgiou Architects in 2000, where they worked for two years as a Graduate Architect. Brett then moved to O'Connell Mahon Architects in 2003, where they worked for four years as an Architect. In 2008, Brett was promoted to Senior Architect, and they worked at O'Connell Mahon Architects until 2015.

In 2015, Brett left O'Connell Mahon Architects to join Pulse Architecture as a Project Leader. Brett worked at Pulse Architecture for one year before moving to Bates Smart in 2016. Brett has been working as an Associate Director at Bates Smart for over four years.

Brett Staples has a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of the Witwatersrand, as well as a Bachelor of Architecture. Brett also has certification from the Royal Institute of the Architects of Ireland in Project Supervisor Design Process (CDM Coordinator), Member of the RIAI, and Accredited in Conservation, Grade 3.
