Bruce Hallbert has extensive experience in the nuclear energy sector, currently serving as the Director of the Light Water Reactor Sustainability Technical Integration Office, as well as holding multiple directorships focused on Nuclear Energy Enabling Technologies and Nuclear Safety and Regulatory Research at Idaho National Laboratory since 1997. Prior to joining Idaho National Laboratory, Bruce Hallbert worked at the IFE - Halden Reactor Project from 1992 to 1997, where roles included Section Head for Human Machine Interaction Research, Human Factors, and Human Machine Systems Research.Bruce Hallbert earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Engineering, with a specialization in Reliability and Interdisciplinary Studies from Vanderbilt University.
