Gerhard Strydom is a highly experienced professional in the field of nuclear engineering, with a focus on advanced reactor technology and design. Currently serving as the Department Manager at Idaho National Laboratory since March 2010, Strydom leads research and development in high-temperature gas-cooled reactors (HTGR) under the DOE-NE ART program. Previous roles include National Technical Director for ART-GCR, Chief Analyst at PBMR, and RP Specialist at the National Nuclear Regulator.
