Ishpreet Pandher

Ishpreet Pandher has over 28 years of professional experience. Ishpreet began their career in 1991 as a Systems Executive at Pertech Computer Ltd. Ishpreet then moved to Lucent in 1994 as a Program Manager, specializing in Network Management Systems (NMS). In 1997, they joined AT&T Labs as a Senior Software Engineer, specializing in Clustering, WAN, VoIP, Disaster Recovery and High Availability. Ishpreet then joined Nomura Securities Intl in 2004 as an Executive Director, where they were instrumental in launching many trading desks, including Cash, Derivatives, International, and Electronic. In 2013, they joined WorldQuant LLC as a Managing Director of the Virtual Research Center, where they launched and managed multiple quant research initiatives and a crowd sourced alpha business. In 2018, they founded QuantSol, a web-based platform for business users to leverage their data. Most recently, in 2019, they joined BattleFin Group as the Chief Strategy Officer. BattleFin has created an Alternative Data Marketplace organizing a fragmented industry on a global scale.

Ishpreet Pandher attended the National Institute of Technology Rourkela from 1986 to 1991, where they earned a B.Sc. in Computer Science and Engineering. Ishpreet then attended the University of Pennsylvania and The Wharton School from 2004 to 2007, where they earned an MSE (EMTM) and an M.S. in Technology Management, respectively.
