Florian Lienert

Florian Lienert's work experience includes various roles in the medical field. Florian began their career as a PhD Student at the Friedrich Miescher Institute for Biomedical Research in 2007 and completed their position in 2011. Following that, they worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Harvard Medical School from 2012 to 2014. In 2014, Florian joined MSD Switzerland, where they held multiple positions, including Medical Science Liaison, Medical Advisor, and Medical Lead Vaccines. Their tenure at MSD Switzerland ended in 2020. Currently, Florian is employed at Bavarian Nordic and holds the role of Product Lead Medical Affairs since October 2020. Additionally, they also serve as the Director Global Medical Affairs starting from March 2022.

Florian Lienert obtained their Master's degree in Biology, General from ETH Zürich, where they studied from 2002 to 2006. Florian then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Genetics at the University of Basel from 2007 to 2011.
