James G. Burns, PhD has a diverse and extensive work experience in the medical and research fields. James G. started their career as a Post-doctoral Fellow at the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique in 2007. Following this, they worked as a Research Fellow at the Canadian Institute for Advanced Research from 2009 to 2011. In 2012, they joined the University of Toronto as a Senior Research Associate.

James G. Burns, PhD has a strong educational background in behavioral neuroscience, wildlife biology, and biology. James G. holds a PhD in Behavioral Neuroscience from the University of Toronto, an MSc in Wildlife Biology from Simon Fraser University, and a BSc in Biology from the University of Calgary. In addition to their academic qualifications, they have also obtained a certification as a Project Management Professional from the Project Management Institute in March 2012.
