Peter J. Costa Mph, McHes, Aves (Hon)

Peter J. Costa, MPH, MCHES, AVES (Hon) has a diverse work experience spanning various organizations and roles. Currently, they serve as the U.S. Medical Affairs Regional Lead at Bavarian Nordic since April 2021. Prior to this, Peter volunteered as the Associate Executive Director at the One Health Commission starting in May 2015. As the Marketing Director - KEDRAB at Kedrion Biopharma from January 2017 to April 2021, they led the development and execution of the KEDRAB brand strategy. Peter also worked at Lehigh University, where they served as an Adjunct Lecturer from December 2013 to January 2017 and as the Director of Health Advancement & Prevention Strategies from October 2012 to January 2017. Additionally, they worked as an IPA Assistant for Ebola: CDC - Lehigh University at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention from November 2014 to May 2015. Peter's previous experiences also include serving as the Director of Education and Outreach at the Global Alliance for Rabies Control from June 2007 to October 2012, as well as holding roles in public health education and epidemiology at the North Carolina Division of Public Health and the Bethlehem Health Bureau.

Peter J. Costa, MPH, MCHES, AVES (Hon) pursued their education at East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania from 2002 to 2005. During this period, they completed their Master of Public Health (MPH) degree with a focus on Community Health Education.
