Stefanie Sperling began their work experience as a Student Assistant at the Alfred Wegener Institute of Polar and Marine Research AWI from November 2010 to February 2011. Stefanie then worked as a Research Assistant at the Helmholtz Zentrum für Umweltforschung from March 2011 to July 2011. From November 2011 to September 2012, they were employed by HAC Biomed as an Employee for Quality Control and also served as an Intern there from September to November 2011. Stefanie then worked as a Research Assistant at the Institute for Experimental Oncology and Therapy Research from March to May 2013, followed by a role as a Research Assistant at the CReaTE Group, University of Otago, from October 2013 to April 2014. Stefanie then became a Research Assistant at HelmholtzZentrum München from April to October 2014. Stefanie continued their work at HelmholtzZentrum München as a PhD Student from April 2015 to March 2019. Stefanie then moved to NanoCapture - innovative cancer therapy as a Postdoctoral Researcher from September 2019 to August 2020. Stefanie took a break from work for Parental Leave from August 2020 to June 2021. Presently, they are employed at Bavarian Nordic as a Scientist in QC from June 2021 onwards.
Stefanie Sperling obtained their Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Marine Biotechnology and Aquaculture from Bremerhaven University of Applied Sciences in 2011. Stefanie then pursued their Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Molecular Biotechnology at the Technical University of Munich, which they completed in 2014.
