Tim Gerster

Tim Gerster has a diverse work experience in scientific and research roles. Tim is currently employed as a Scientist at Bavarian Nordic since July 2023. Prior to this, Tim worked as a PHD Student at Technische Universität München from July 2018 to November 2022, focusing on their research. Before their PHD, they gained practical experience as a Werkstudent im Bereich Breitbandausbau at GEO DATA GmbH from 2016 to 2017. Tim also completed an internship at Genedia AG Biotec Services & Products from March 2014 to December 2014, where they worked in the field of DNA analysis and genetic diagnostics.

Tim Gerster obtained their Bachelor's degree in Industrial Biotechnology from Hochschule Ansbach - University of Applied Sciences, where they studied from 2011 to 2015. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Molecular Biotechnology at Technical University of Munich from 2015 to 2018, completing their education in this field.
