Erin Bregman

Erin Bregman is an accomplished communications professional with expertise in the arts and education. Currently serving as the Director of Communications at the Bay Area Environmental Research Institute since September 2020, Erin promotes awareness of the institute's scientific work. Previously, as the Founder and Director of Little Opera from August 2011 to August 2020, Erin established an all-kids opera company, overseeing operations, partnerships with artists, and successfully fundraising over $18,000 in its initial months. Erin also worked as a Teaching Artist for San Francisco Opera from December 2008 to June 2014, leading opera creation workshops and developing original curriculum, alongside a tenure as a Passage Writer at Center Point Assessment Solutions, delivering educational materials. Additionally, Erin was a Resident Playwright for Playwrights Foundation from 2009 to 2013. Erin holds a degree in Literature and Creative Studies from UC Santa Barbara, awarded in 2006.
