Sepideh Khajehei is a data scientist currently working at NASA Ames Research Center and the Bay Area Environmental Research Institute since July 2023. Additionally, Sepideh serves as a scientific advisor at Climate Engine, providing guidance on earth analytics and climate data interpretation. Previous roles include lead data scientist at Climate Engine, applied scientist at Descartes Labs, where Sepideh led customer solutions using geospatial data, and technical professional at Amec Foster Wheeler focused on water quality modeling and sea level rise analysis. Sepideh has a strong academic background, holding a Ph.D. and a Master's degree in Civil Engineering from Portland State University, and a Bachelor's degree from Shiraz University.
