Vinay Ravindra

Vinay Ravindra is an accomplished Research Scientist with extensive experience at NASA Ames Research Center and Bay Area Environmental Research Institute since May 2018. Prior roles include Spacecraft Development Engineer at Axelspace Corporation, where responsibilities involved orbital analysis and control system development for satellite projects, and Project Research Associate at JAXA, focusing on advanced RF system design. Vinay's early career featured contributions to small satellite development and algorithm design at various institutions, including work on attitude determination systems and positioning algorithms. Educational credentials include a PhD in Electrical Engineering and Information Systems from The University of Tokyo and dual Master’s degrees in Space Technology and Space Science and Technology from Luleå University of Technology and The Julius Maximilians University of Würzburg, respectively. A Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering was obtained from Visvesvaraya Technological University.
