Vickie Fachinelli Portes

Vickie Fachinelli Portes is an experienced Pediatric Nurse Practitioner with a strong background in pediatric primary care and mental health, having held positions at Bay Clinic, Inc. since April 2020, and PrairieCare from June 2017 to April 2020. Vickie has a notable history of leadership as the Medical Director and Camp Director at Camp Sweet Life Adventures, Inc., where the creation of Minnesota's only camp for children with type 1 diabetes was spearheaded. Previous roles include providing care at Mayo Clinic as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner and Certified Diabetes Educator, and at Mankato Clinic, where Vickie managed care for children and young adults. Vickie holds a Bachelor of Science in Registered Nursing from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities and has been involved in education at Minnesota State University, Mankato since 1998.
