Daniel Finan

Daniel Finan has a diverse work experience that spans different industries and roles. Daniel worked as a Senior Electrical Engineer at Bay Computer Associates, where they were involved in the design, development, implementation, and verification of high-end medical, industrial, and consumer products. Daniel had strong technical expertise and led teams throughout the entire product development cycle. Daniel also contributed to proposal writing, estimating, and technical reviews. Additionally, they worked at Naval Undersea Warfare Center Newport as an Electrical Engineer, providing engineering and scientific knowledge for weapon system design and development. Daniel gained experience in testing, troubleshooting, hardware, PCB design, and FPGA development. During their time at Bay Computer Associates, they were a member of the URI Electrical and Computer Engineering Capstone Design Team, where they redesigned a Three Phase Motor Controller. Daniel expanded their skills in power supply design, MOSFET driver design, and working effectively in a team. Daniel also served as President of Theta Chi Fraternity, managing and leading the fraternity's executive board and members while overseeing budget management and philanthropic fundraisers. As a Systems Engineering Intern at L3 Technologies, they gained experience in product development, research, data collection, and analysis. Daniel also held positions at Boys and Girls Clubs of America as a counselor and at the University of Rhode Island as the Director of Public Relations for Interfraternity Council, where they were responsible for promoting the positive work of the Greek community.

Daniel Finan completed their education at the University of Rhode Island from 2014 to 2018. Daniel obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering during this time. Prior to attending university, they attended Milford High School and received their high school diploma in 2014. No field of study is specified for their high school education.
