Alan Weiss, MD, MBA, FACP, currently serves as the Chief Medical Information Officer at BayCare Health System, providing strategic leadership in health informatics, focusing on clinical information systems, telemedicine, and population health applications. Weiss has a robust background in improving electronic health record (EHR) systems, overseeing committees for EHR governance and clinical systems integration, and addressing physician burnout through workflow optimizations. Previously, Weiss held various leadership roles at Memorial Hermann Health System, Cedars-Sinai, and Cleveland Clinic, contributing significantly to EHR implementations, quality improvement initiatives, and healthcare analytics.
