Chinwe Oniah

Chinwe Oniah serves as the Production Manager at BAYCAT since May 2023 and has been an On-Call Digital Producer for KQED since January 2020, where responsibilities include producing and editing videos for the KQED Digital Video vertical and the webseries "If Cities Could Dance." Previous experience includes roles as a Freelance Videojournalist for California Magazine, Contributor/Operations & Experience Manager for Women Sound Off, and various contributing positions at REHAB Online Magazine, Complex Networks, and WNYC Radio. Chinwe also worked as a general assignment reporter for the New York City News Service and held reporting internships at Mott Haven Herald. Chinwe Oniah holds a Master of Arts in Journalism from the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at CUNY and a Bachelor of Arts in Media and Cultural Studies/Business from the University of California, Riverside.
