Danny Challis

Danny Challis is a lead data scientist in computational genetics at Bayer, where they currently focus on machine learning and data science. Previously, Danny served as a senior bioinformatics programmer at the Human Genome Sequencing Center at Baylor College of Medicine, specializing in variant analysis and developing software for the 1000 Genomes Project. They have also held roles at Bayer Crop Science and Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research, demonstrating a strong foundation in bioinformatics and web application development. Danny earned a Master's degree in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Bioinformatics from Brigham Young University.
