Jannicke Irina Nesman

Jannicke Irina Nesman is a highly experienced research scientist currently employed at Bayer since April 2022, specializing in the field of Organic Chemistry. Prior to this role, Jannicke worked at Unger Fabrikker AS as a project leader focusing on the R&D development of anionic surfactants from June 2021 to April 2022. Academic experience includes serving as a student teacher at the University of Oslo, where Jannicke taught pharmaceutical and organic chemistry during PhD studies and conducted research on synthetic methods for biologically active molecules related to pro-resolving mediators of inflammation. Jannicke holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Organic Chemistry from the University of Oslo, complemented by a Master's degree in Organic Chemistry from the Norwegian University of Life Sciences and another Master's degree in Chemistry from UC San Diego. Additional experience includes R&D work as a summer student at Borregaard and a staff position at The Norwegian Museum of Science and Technology.
