Joana Reis

Joana Reis is a seasoned medical professional with extensive experience in radiology and global medical affairs. Currently serving as the Global Medical Affairs Breast Lead for Radiology at Bayer, Joana Reis is tasked with developing and implementing global medical strategies while collaborating with various departments. Prior experience includes a senior role in Global Medical Affairs for Digital Radiology and consultancy at Akershus universitetssykehus, where expertise in breast imaging and participation in multidisciplinary treatment meetings were provided. As a PhD candidate at Universitetet i Oslo, research focused on the diagnostic and prognostic value of imaging techniques in breast cancer treatment outcomes. Joana Reis holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Breast Imaging with a specialization in MRI, completed during doctoral training at the University of Oslo and a residency at Akershus University Hospital.
