Michael Clements, PhD, MBA, currently serves as the Director of Cloud Solutions Business Program at Bayer, focusing on the strategy and management of digital AgPowered Service products. With over 15 years of experience at Bayer and its predecessor company, Monsanto, Michael has led cross-functional teams, managed significant budgets, and delivered innovative digital solutions across global R&D projects. Michael's previous roles include Program Manager overseeing protocol management teams and Global IT Strategy Lead where Michael directed capital projects valued over US$20 million. Michael's extensive academic background includes multiple degrees from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, culminating in a PhD in Plant Breeding and Quantitative Genetics, paired with an MBA focusing on business management and operations.
