Lennart B.

Lennart B. has a diverse work experience ranging from roles in banking and finance to car rental and private banking. Starting in 2010, Lennart began their professional apprenticeship in private banking at Stadtsparkasse München. In 2012, they worked as a car rental assistant at Europcar. In 2014, Lennart interned in structured equity derivatives at UniCredit Bank AG. Lennart then moved on to Commerzbank AG, where they worked as an intern in flow trading linear products in 2015 and later as an assistant trader in the same department in 2016. From 2017 onwards, Lennart joined BayernLB, first as a junior associate in IT solution design, then as an associate, and eventually as the assistant vice president. Their roles at BayernLB also include being the head of data services & support and currently, the head of trading IT service management.

Lennart B. obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in International Financial Management from Nürtingen-Geislingen University (HfWU) in 2016. In 2013-2014, they also completed a Year Abroad in Economics & Finance at California State University, Fresno. Lennart then pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Finance at Durham University from 2016-2017, and a Research Exchange program at Copenhagen Business School in 2017. Lennart B. has also obtained various certifications, including Talents @ BayernLB 2020/2021 Cohort from Bayerische Landesbank, Machine Learning by Stanford University from Coursera, and Python from HackerRank.
