Cécile Schneider

Cécile Schneider is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in communications and marketing. Currently serving as Product Lead at the BR AI + Automation Lab at Bayerischer Rundfunk since January 2020, Schneider focuses on developing investigative stories and journalistic products utilizing AI and automation technologies. Previously, as a Senior PR and Marketing Manager at Telefónica NEXT, Schneider led B2B marketing communications in the realms of Big Data and IoT. Schneider also held the position of Senior Communications Manager at Koch Media / Deep Silver, contributing to the promotion of digital entertainment products. In academia, Schneider served as a Lecturer at the University of Television and Film Munich, teaching courses in Media Science and New Media/Games. Earlier freelance work included writing and public relations for various organizations, complemented by a Master’s degree in Media Studies from Universität Siegen.
