Melody Miller-Collette has a diverse work experience in the field of human resources. Melody started their career in 1995 as an Area Human Resource Manager at Waste Management and later worked as a Human Resource Manager at Humana. In 1998, they became the Regional Director of Human Resources at CCN, Inc. Following this, they worked as the Director of Human Resources at Capital Regional Medical Center and later at North Okaloosa Medical Center. In 2016, they became the Director of Human Resources at Merit Health Biloxi. Melody then moved on to work as the Human Resources Director at Andalusia Health, Santa Rosa Medical Center, and currently at Bayfront Health Seven Rivers. Melody has a strong background in HR leadership and has provided strategic support to various healthcare facilities throughout their career.
Melody Miller-Collette has a strong educational background in human resources and organizational management. Melody pursued their Master's degree in Human Resources & Organizational Management from National Louis University from 1999 to 2001. Prior to that, Melody completed their Bachelor's degree in Business Administration (B.B.A.) with a focus on Managerial Economics from the University of South Florida.
In addition to their degrees, Melody has obtained several certifications to enhance their professional profile. Melody obtained the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR®) Certification from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI in May 2001. Furthermore, they acquired the SHRM-SCP certification from the Society for Human Resource Management in January 2015. These certifications reflect their commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the field of human resources.
