Robert Amaya

Robert Amaya is a seasoned Senior Drilling Engineer Advisor at Baytex Energy Corp., with extensive experience in well execution and production maximization. Prior roles at Marathon Oil Corporation included drilling horizontal exploratory wells and managing complex drilling operations in various basins, while earlier positions at EOG Resources and Baker Hughes involved supervising high-performing drilling rigs and optimizing drilling projects. Robert holds an M.B.A. from Mays Business School at Texas A&M University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Tecnológico de Monterrey.
