Marco Lainez

Marco Lainez has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Marco currently holds the position of Senior Vice President at Bayview Asset Management, LLC since June 2018. Prior to that, they worked as a Managing Director at The Bancorp from January 2018 to June 2018. Marco also has significant experience in the financial sector, having served as Managing Director at RAIT Financial Trust from June 2014 to January 2018 and in various origination roles at Citi from June 2012 to May 2014. Additionally, they have held senior positions at Guardian Investment Banking, Real Estate, Natixis Capital Markets (Real Estate Finance), and CIBC World Markets. Marco started their career at GE Energy as an Intern and TLP Associate, participating in GE's Technical Leadership Program.

Marco Lainez earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Union College, which they attended from 1990 to 1994. Prior to that, they completed their high school education at Seton Hall Preparatory from 1986 to 1990. Later, they pursued an MBA in International Finance at Union College from 1996 to 1997.
